Staygold is an electronic music duo comprised of two GRAMMY nominated songwriter/producers. For years they’ve written songs for other artists, but now they’re embarking on their own creative journey to bring disruptive and innovative music to the world. Staygold, which is influenced by classic Hip Hop, RnB & Electronic, features a mix of rap, pop, and indie vocalists under a thick contagious bassline, with urban inspired drum grooves. Stay Gold’s use of vintage sounding samples, reminiscent of early Kanye & DJ Premier, combined with modern sound design from productions like Louis the Child, Snakehips, and Griz, to create something completely unexpected.
